Privacy Policy
Last updated 9 June 2026
Swar (the “App”) is operated by Mysa Technology Pvt Ltd (“Mysa”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we collect through the Swar patient app and the Swar hospital platform, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). By creating a Swar account, you consent to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Mysa Technology Pvt Ltd — maker of Swar, a product of Saakh. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact our Grievance Officer at privacy@saakh.in.
2. The data we collect
- Account & identity: your mobile number (used to sign in); and for each family profile you add — name, date of birth, sex, relationship, and an optional ABHA health ID you choose to enter.
- Health & care data: when you link a hospital record, we show you the prescriptions, lab reports, invoices, appointments and queue status that hospital has recorded for you. Swar does not create your medical record — the hospital does.
- Device & notifications: a push-notification token (only if you enable alerts) and basic device information needed to deliver the app.
- Location: only if you use the in-app emergency/ambulance feature and grant permission, and only to share your location with the hospital you alert.
- Usage & diagnostics: limited technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
3. How we use your data
- To sign you in and operate your account and family profiles.
- To link you to a hospital’s records — only with your action and consent — and show those records to you.
- To let you join queues, book appointments, receive notifications, give feedback, and raise an emergency alert.
- To keep the service secure and comply with law.
4. Consent and your control
We process your data on the basis of your consent under the DPDP Act. Linking a hospital is always your choice and is recorded in a consent ledger you can review. You can withdraw consent or delete your account at any time (see §8).
5. Who we share it with
- The hospital(s) you choose to link to, so they can provide your care. Swar never reveals one hospital’s records to another.
- Trusted service providers who help us run Swar (e.g. cloud hosting and SMS delivery), under contract and only as needed.
- Authorities, where required by law.
6. Where your data lives
Your data is stored in India (Asia-Pacific, Mumbai region). Each hospital’s data is isolated from every other hospital’s by design.
7. How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit, access is least-privilege, and you can only ever see records linked to your own profile. Staff at one hospital cannot see your patient-app account or another hospital’s records.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your Swar account from the app (Profile → Delete account). Deleting your account removes your profiles, hospital links, consents and notification settings from Swar. The medical records each hospital holds about you are retained by that hospital as required by medical-record and other applicable laws; to have those amended or erased, contact the hospital directly.
9. Your rights under the DPDP Act
You have the right to access a summary of your data, to correction and completion, to erasure, to grievance redressal, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf. To exercise any right, use the in-app controls or write to privacy@saakh.in. We will respond within the timelines required by law.
10. Children
A profile for someone under 18 must be created and managed by a parent or lawful guardian, who consents on the child’s behalf.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a revised “last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
